Paola was lying on her bed. By that time, she had already thrown away the picture of Paul and sprayed lavender lotion all over the room to make his aroma disappear. She was mad as hell because of the images rolling inside her head. Her hair was a mess, for she pulled it, stupidly hoping to get rid of her visions. Without realizing it, she fell asleep.

The thing about Possessed is that it’s funnier than scarier. It does have more of a suspense feeling to it. I give it 4 stars cause I was expecting a horror story. However, after reading other stories by Gabriel Lucatero I kinda realized he likes to dive into different genres. he does prefers horror but has not problems writing something whimsical and even satirical. Gabriel Lucatero’s style is like the combination between Chuck Palahniuk and Stephen King. Good job!
