Stephen King, talking about short stories, said, “a short story is like a quick kiss in the dark from a stranger.”
I don’t know much about kisses. I don’t do that on a regular basis. But I know short stories, and the fleeting feeling some of them give you at times. The Novel is like a marriage, some other writer said, and that might be the reason why I don’t seem so committed to them.
I am doomed, yet somehow content with it.
Today, forcing myself to commit to something, I decided to share some short stories with you. Some might take you a moment to read. Others won’t, but I sure hope you can take something out of them.
I already posted two of them on my website and blog. Right now, while you read, I will start thinking of the next one.
Promise.
