Dear reader,

It’s been a couple of weeks since I wrote to you. Suppose you have been following my social media pages. In that case, you’ve probably seen I spend quality time with friends and family. But that’s not it. There are other activities I’ve been working on, such as the publication of my short story Amalia. I talked about it in January because I’d planned to publish my stories on Amazon since then. I may add that some things changed, and here we are again back on track.

Now, let’s talk briefly about Amalia. The story falls into the horror genre, horror of the psychological kind, the sort of story that serves as a poignant reminder of the harshness of life. I wrote it for the first time in 2009, if memory serves, and it was my first work of fiction. I had previously published it, along with other stories, and I decided to take it down and polish it more. My writing style has changed in the last 14 years, but this story still holds the essence of what I like to think of as ‘my first steps in my writing career.’

There’s so much I could tell you about Amalia, but that would defeat the purpose, wouldn’t it?

If this is your kind of story, I invite you to read it and leave a review. I guarantee you your feedback will be appreciated. Available only on Amazon Kindle.

Until next time.
