Greetings, friends and family!
It’s been a month since I started going out with Raquel, who shares many things in common with me. We met seven months ago, but because of reasons I still can’t understand, I didn’t dare to look for her and ask her out on a proper date; I know, I even laugh at myself for being so slow to act sometimes. But we are here now. I finally put on my big-boy pants and asked her out, and every day, I peel back another layer that reveals how much I love being around her.
Granted, a month is perhaps not enough time to know someone, but we eagerly look forward to learning more about each other. The basics are covered; she and I are looking for a long-lasting relationship where mutual respect and commitment are the foundation of this story we are trying to build together. We both have mutual friends who are essential in our lives and from whom we have learned valuable lessons.
The happiness I’m feeling right now does not come to me every day, and I would love to share it with my friends and loved ones. I don’t want to be that guy who comes here now and then and only talks about his personal aspiration as a writer, makes funny videos about books and writing, and talks about his day job as an insurance agent; there is a lot more to me. I am also a man who has found love and cannot stop himself from sharing the happiness he feels inside.
Also, a word of advice: if you ever meet someone as amazing as Raquel, don’t wait seven months to act on your feelings.
Until next time.
